The location is similar to the diagram that jhbrennan so kindly displayed. However, on the C2 it should be stored in the foam "Tool Box" that folds down. The adapter (wheel key) for the security wheel bolts is on the left hand side next to the compressor.

I didn't notice the C2 in his signature - it's item E but you're right - different location.

You are welcome!

Become familiar with the contents in there now. Not as easy when it's dark, rainy and you are on the side of the freeway.

Great PDF files jhbrennan!

That compartment isn't that secret. It's covered in your owners guide.

Like someone mentioned, carry a little LED flashlight for those 'dark' moments when you looking for the 'key'.

You might also might want to throw in a road-side tire patch kit for emergencies. Groit's Garage sell a nice tire repair kit packaged in a great water proof bag that I carry in my trunk. I throw in towels, gloves, etc. just in case. Good insurance.

yeah but for someone who doesn't read the manual....like me it really helps to ask someone who already knows. I rely more on visual and I guess I was lazy and didn't really thought it would be there.

I'm sure I'm not the only one
