Tooki Bluetooth Unit GROUP BUY

You must have PCM2 w/the phone button, but do NOT need the internal Porsche phone system (if you have it, it comes out).

To get on the list for this, email me: eric@bumperplugs.com

Just reference Tooki Group Buy. We will accumulate the list like we did with the Dension release, and notify everyone in a few weeks once we have the numbers. The group buy will involve a nice discount, of course.

I have an 06 and I am pretty sure it is the PCM 2.1 correct? Will this bluetooth work with any phone and how much does this setup cost?

Please drop an email to me to get on that list.

PCM2 is required (or later), with the 'phone' button on the system. Mfr suggests that nearly all phones will, but a few people had some issues with BlackBerry Pearls, apparently due to their BB's not be updated, otherwise so far, so good.

List is $750 and firm, fixed by the mfr. We will offer as much of a discount as we can, as we are a large supplier to this Porsche community.

Be sure to email me: eric@bumperplugs.com Thanks.

Here is the PR on the unit from the mfr: The first full factory integration Bluetooth Car Kit for Porsche, TOOKI allows all 2005+ Porsche with phone buttons on the radio owners to enjoy all the functionality of the original Porsche car phone with added Bluetooth capabilities at a fraction of the cost.

Thanks to Bluetooth technology, the driver keeps the phone in his/her pocket, on a belt or in a handbag. Once the ignition key is turned, TOOKI Car Kit detects mobile phone and establishes a wireless connection to it without a need for a SIM card or any manipulations with it. From this point on, both incoming and outgoing calls are handled mostly without touching the phone, hands-free.

TOOKI features*:
Universal system, works with phones from all manufacturers
User Friendly interface using OEM LCD Display and Steering Wheel Controls
Supports Headset, Handsfree, Synchronization, Object Push Bluetooth profiles
Almost full use of OEM phone features, allowing to:
Accept and initiate, reject and end calls
View the active Network and Phone names, Signal and Battery strength meters
View Caller ID for incoming calls and status of Bluetooth connection
Adjust Volume during the conversation
Access Phone Book in alphabetical order
Access Call Lists (vocal prompts given)
Dial a number

Full Duplex communication, noise reduction and echo cancellation
Rapid Bluetooth synchronization with the phonebook Up to five phones can be paired with the same system
Radio mute during calls, use of the car audio system for the highest quality of sound
Redial Call Waiting Private Mode

Easily installed by any qualified car stereo/alarm technician.
