Here are some of the fixes/updates:

Modifications:
• iPod display: modified due to the limitations of new iPod Nano3 and Classic v1.0.3 firmwares. While iPod is playing Dension logo is displayed on the iPod screen.
• iPod welcome screen changed to a single page, containing "DENSION", "www.dension.com", version number and service tag.

Bug fix:
• During the shutdown process, when an iPod is connected, in very rare cases the GW500 froze, only removing the iPod helped. Fixed.

Also added a few more vehicles to the compatibility list.

Bug fixes:
• Random/Repeat: handling on Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche the Shuffle/Repeat settings were lost when device was re-connected and when tracks were changed by the user.
• ‘Loading’ state: freezing bug fixed.
• After selecting AUX or IPOD_UI source, the head unit did not take it into account. Fixed.
• BTA: ‘Disconnect’ menu item was not working properly. Fixed.
• Some Bluetooth devices disconnect and reconnect between track changes, which caused unwanted operation of the head unit display. Fixed.
• The media player of the Bluetooth device only connects when it is selected as an audio source on the GW500 menu. (Unlike the handsfree which always connects)

Touch is being resolved now.....it's really an Apple problem and we've been working with Apple's 3rd Party Developer group to resolve.

Just got it... For what it's worth, install.dension.com was not loading until DNS went and fetched www.dension.com. Odd.

Anyway, it's a pretty groovy upgrade. The playlist browse feature is great. Now you can easily get to more than your first 5 playlists quickly and easily.

Can you explain this? I can only get my first 4 playlists. Whatever was playing when the car shuts off moves to 5, and 6 is a list of all my lists - but none can be selected.

Pressing "CD List" on my head unit pulls up a 6 options:

Playlist Scan
Artist Scan
Album Scan
No CD
Emil's iPod
Menu

If you hit Playlist scan and wait a second, it'll start with the currently selected playlist as the track name. Using the next track/previous track buttons OR the Track List menu option, you can scan through your play lists. In fact, the "Track List" option pulls up a listing of the play lists on the iPod.

When you select a play list, it starts to play from the beginning of the play list. Let it play...

In 30-seconds or so, the selected play list will be loaded in to CD-5 and that CD will automatically be selected. So instead of being on CD-1 and using the next track/previous track OR "Track List" option to choose play lists, you'll be able to use those functions to browse tracks on the play list.

It's kind of confusing, but it makes sense. Sort of. :-)

And this appears to be ONLY with Dension firmware 2.08!

Thanks - what's the easiest way to check the firmware version? I had mine installed in January, and he said he added the latest (2.08 I thought).

When I plug in my iPod Nano, it shows the dension logo with the version number in the top right corner.

Thanks. I'll take a look tonight. What Emilgh described doesn't sound like mine at all.

You could also reflash the unit with 2.08 if you aren't sure.
