When did you guys perform your first oil change, how many miles?

 

7K, my self!

 

3500 miles and I will continue to do it every 3-3500 miles. I am old school and I plan to keep my car for a long long time. Clean oil is the life of the engine.

My dealer insisted I wait until I hit the 7.5k mark.

 

2500 miles right after the break-in period in order to be sure any metal filings were removed. Then once a year due to DE use. If mine were street only, I'd probably follow the factory guidelines. If you do a search, you'll find about 100 posts on this with various opinions.

 

Oil and Filter at 2063 Miles after the break in period, simple DIY. After that it will be once per year.
