WARNING: about the Plenum mod (title edited)
Dominique,
why not go down there to just test it out, I personally would. If i were in ur shoes. Am a student still and trust me, am very very busy studying Architecture. You have claim something that alot of people are waiting to find out, the TRUTH, is is sad that you can't go since you have started this thread and have confused many people out there, either they were planning or not planning to buy one of these products. To trash a business like this is unprofessional. Am definitely sure you wouldn't want others to do the same with your business.
You claimed, by going to the test facility and IF results are better than what you have stated, IPD would claim to benefit from the results. Well I dont blame you for stating such statement, however you have accused rightly or not so that they are doing bad business ethics as well as posting inaccurate data, the fact that you have offered you place to someone else is just down right dirty. Prove yourself, if you get the results you stated, YOU have proven to everybody here that they are WRONG and you are RIGHT!!, look at it on the bright side, free dyno, gas and LUNCH!!!
If you decide against going still, am not too sure what you were looking for.

I think Dominique997SC should back his argument up and apologize or be banned from this board, permanently. (He must do this with in the next 24 hours.) The vendor has made an offer to prove his worth and yet Dominic backed down from the offer. To me, this is considered a ban-able offense.
1000000000000000000000000%
I think that he should also have his car confiscated and crushed, freeze all his bank accounts and sell off any of his assets, with the proceeds going directly to the "Who-gives-a-s#%t-foundation". Then we'll form a posse and steal his dog, smash his letterbox and take his lunch money!
C'mon, seriously. How generally embarrasing that my first (and probably only) posting should be a sarcastic dialogue highlighting just how silly people can get over a subject. Take a good look at yourselves, because from the outside looking in, you all appear to require a "real problem" to worry about.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say a few things without adding more fuel to the fire.
First, I honestly was not aware of the awe test till someone posted a link in my thread when I had announced that GMP was going to start selling their product.
Second,
After learning about their thread I immediately let my client know before ordering, about the information from AWE as well as the people that had positive things to say about it as I felt its my obilgation to provide all the facts so that he could make a well informed decision before he purchases the product. I firmly believe honesty is the best policy when it comes to the customer.
Thanks for those who have supported GMP through all of this, and for the record, I haven't personally had the opportunity of doing business with Dominique so I'm not sure why he has made these comments about me or GMP.

After reading this post I have to react.
The reason I posted this thread was because I was considering buying the plenum since it is advertised as a ‘wonder product' (30HP+ for $1,000 sounds almost unbelievable) so I started doing some research.
I invested quite some time in it only to discover that dyno tests prove the product to be not working at all or if working only a fraction of what is promised.
All positive comments were either from:
- customers installing it at the same time they did some other mods (doesn’t mean anything)
- customers who felt like it did something (probably placebo effect)
A product that gives you that much power gain that cheap not backed-up by independent dyno tests is fishy. Tests proving the product not to be working tend to get more trustworthy that way.
My conclusion at that time was that the ISS Plenum is only a way for some people to make money by lying and misleading... so I didn't buy it of course. The fact that the production cost for the plenum is only a fraction of the retail price (we can’t consider research cost here since apparently it doesn’t do anything) makes it a scam.
The recent tests by AWE was the second most popular thread on this forum ever (check the stats) so everyone on this board should know by now that AWE found out the plenum doesn't do ANYTHING except for costing you money (down the drain) and even taking power away.
When you posted a new thread trying to sell the product again with those same promises (30HP+), preventing other users from getting lured by false promises was something very obvious to do.
I’m not saying I don’t believe you when you say you didn’t know about the AWE tests but come on… you have a shop, dealing with that much customers who must have seen the thread about those tests and you don’t know about it? Let’s just not argue about this, it’s not worth it.
After everything I read, I really don’t feel like driving over there to get my car dyno’d but it’s very obvious that Gregg only wants ‘me’ there since he doesn’t even react to other people willing to provide their stock car to do the test… what do you think that means? They have a great opportunity here to prove this once and for all… I’m pretty sure a lot of forum members will buy the plenum if unbiased tests prove the product to deliver the promises made by you and RSS… even I will… but how confident I am when I don’t even want to spend a couple of hours.
Once again, prove me wrong and I’ll be your best advertisement for a while, that’s a promise I will keep! Post a thread ‘looking for volunteer for plenum test’ and get someone with a stock car to help you boost sales on this ‘wonder product’.
If the tests prove me right… I will be your worst advertisement too… that’s very humane and look at it as the same thing BBB would do, helping customers, not ruining someone’s business… they do that themselves by making false promises… but… let’s just wait for the results.
One more thing… those people busting my *** over this thread… get your car over there and prove me wrong! Otherwise I’m just relying on test by AWE (a professional company) and staying home!
They don't want one of our cars, they specifically asked for yours.

How do you know for a fact that the dyno was done with and without the plenum for sure? Were you there to see it? I am not aying that AWE mis lying, but you can't prove anything with a 100% conviction due to the fact that you were not there to witness anything. Where do you get off dragging a couple of well respected board sponsors through the mud? You are full of it IMO.
I would be all over it, but a few things prohibit me from taking part. No dealers for this product up hear, and the 20 hour drive from my house to see Greg.
I don't think that he will go because he has been vocal about them being scammers! Easy to hide behind a computer.
Just walk away from that name, your shame won't follow you with a new one.
Invitation #2
OK, How about we go the extra mile (or in this case 80 to 90 miles) and drive down to you? We will install the plenum for free, pay for the dyno and buy you lunch, of course at your convenience. All you have to do is show up with your car, just make sure it's a Porsche. I can't make the offer any sweeter. I will find the most convenient dyno facility if you decide to accept this offer. Ball is in your court.
