I spoke to them yesterday. No product. "At least a month or more". Taking orders. If you are in a hurry you are out of luck. I bought Milltek.

I ordered mine a while ago but I believe Borla relocated all their manufacturing capability from CA to NC and that's causing the delay. I will be patient, because I love Borla.

I canceled my order. There is no real ETA from what a supposed "insider" has told me. It can be here in 2 weeks, or it can take a couple more months.

Good luck to the rest of you that ordered. I was one of the first ones to order..

WOW, how long have we been talking about Borla on this and other sites? It has been a year or so since Mr. Borla came here talking about his mufflers. Geesh what is the hold up?

The hold up is that they moved their entire production facility.
I think they had a huge caravan of 18 wheelers heading from CA to NC.

Getting set up in the new facility is what's taking the long time.

What is absolutely amazing is before I even took delivery of my 07 997S I got a email dated Feb. 07 that the exhaust would be out in a few weeks...it should have said a few years.

I'm hoping for an exhaust for the E92 M3 soon...but at this rate...

The Borla 997S product is the lightest exhaust ever produced. It weighs in at zero. It's like not even having any mufflers, tips and headers.

Just about a year ago I recall Borla was looking for Guinea pigs to test the fit of their 'stealth' product. I couldn't wait then and went w/ the PSE. I suggest anyone waiting for Borla might be best served looking at other exhaust systems.

I was one of the cars that was suppose to be used...but after numerous emails it didn't materialize. I agree "vaporware" weights nothing...

My car was the prototype. Was completed about a year ago. Even with the move, these should have been done a while ago.

Sad to see them dropping the ball on this. I dropped my car off for the inital R&D November 2006-March 2007. If you search youtube for 997 borla, that's my car with the prototype mufflers and headers. I really loved the sound of it but I don't know if i'd be able to wait this long for one.

Too many other good mufflers on the market to wait around for Borla to get their act together.

I am doing my best to determine when these 997S parts will ship and should have a more accurate assessment by the end of the week.

A lot of time, effort, and careful planning went into the move of our production & warehousing plants from California to Tennessee. With the move now in full swing, time & resources are consumed with getting the new facilities up and running. To add to the hectic pace, our Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and R&D departments are staying local to Oxnard, CA but are moving into a new office. Again I apologize that this is causing delays.

We would rather make sure everything is operating properly and parts are made correctly as opposed to just pounding out some pieces & hope our customers don’t notice flaws in craftsmanship. We know our customers demand the highest quality products from us and we strive to deliver nothing less.

Once the whole company gets settled into their respective new locations, I know it will return to business as usual. Until that happens however, our team here at Borla will continue to take your calls, answer your emails, and get your new performance exhaust system to your doorstep as quickly as possible. Thank you again for your continued interest in our products!

Any update on the production of this system for the C2S? I also have been waiting for over a year for this thing to be released! They said they would have more information in a week on 7/15, it is now 8/15 with no update. Anyone know what is going on? How patient are we expected to be?
