There are dozens of choices and dozens of opinions. I humbly suggest you try as search for exhaust because no pun intended, but his topic has been thoroughly exhausted in the past.

I have the AWE system on my car (Headers, Cats, Muffler, V-Flow Intake, GIAC flash) The car sounds amazing. I would recommend going with AWE. I would also recommend you get there tips, not for performance but for aesthetic looks. They fit perfectly in place and don't stick out too much.

AWE is top notch equipment - I enjoyed a full header / cat / muffler system all last year. This year I went back to a more street-oriented setup with OEM X51 headers, AWE cats, and OEM 997S Mufflers. It pretty much splits the middle between the tinny and quiet OEM and the deep and loud full AWE. I'm really enjoying it around town and it's loud enough to hear on the track. Performance wise, it feels as strong as before and the TraqMate data is suggesting the same. Parts new was $2k for the "X51 compromise", so if looking for moderate sound change, it's a great way to go.

Ron,

We are running similar systems, I have the PSE and when they are in sport mode the car is almost as loud as when I had my Evo mufflers on, the normal mode allows me to drive on the tracks with out getting kicked off for being too loud. I agree that the sound is great with the Hybrid system!

I recommend the Fabspeed system, because it sounds great, high quality, and very versatile with the interchangeable parts.

Has he considered Suncoast stainless steel headers? Very easy to install.
