spacers

Does any one have a picture or website that shows the difference between a c4s with spacers and one without?

This is my C2S with and without spacers. I have heard that the same spacers work on the C4.

Here's a shot without spacers on my 4S

I just went out to the garage to snap a couple with 7mm spacers (forgive the lighting, its dark out). I go back and forth between the 7's and the 15's on the rear, don't ask me why ... I must have mental problems

I have installed 7mm in front and 14mm in the rear (H&R kit). I tried the 14mm in the rear without any on the front and it looked unbalanced. Even though I love the looks, I am curious about the impact on handling since the increases are not the ones OEM optioned out by Porsche. Can anyone comment on the potential benefits/detriment to the handling characteristics of the larger spacers? Does it require changes to other suspension settings? Thanks.

Porsche just provides 5MM spacers. Their kit includes wheel bolts & new locks. It sells for approx. $300 from Sunset Porsche.

H&R (German made) has various thicknesses (ie. 7, 15, etc) that look just as good as the Porsche ones. You'll need to buy the longer wheel bolts separately.

I have tracked my car with and without the spacers (on 18" 997 wheels) and have not had any problems.

I have 15mm on the front and rears with Lobster wheels on my 997 C2 narrow body. It looks way better to me now that the wheels are flushed to the fenders. Also, I noticed that I no longer scrape my GT3 front bumper on my driveway with the spacers.
