Will OEM gt3 exhaust work on Carrera S?

Im looking to put a gt3 rear bumper on my Carrera S but I don't know what exhaust to use since it comes out the middle instead of each side. Anyone tried this before? Thanks.

Justatoy did the rear bumper swap on his cab, I am not sure but I think he changed his mind. PM him to see what his thoughts are, he might sell you his stuff if he did change his mind.

I did this research a while back and was told that the 997 GT3 exhaust, cats, headers will not fit on a 997S, because of the header interface to the manifold. You can put a GT3 rear apron/bumper on the back without any issues, but you will have to go out and purchase a center routed exhaust from Cargraphic that will work. At least that's what my research showed.

FVD also do a centre outlet GT3 lookalike system for 997/S.

I did have the bumper cover on my car.Just decided it was not the look I was going for or maybe just needed the GT3 front as well, anyway we will see,may have to try it again someday if the bumper doesn't sell.
Three things you WILL need to do !
One,obviously,re-route the exhaust.I think it would be fairly easy to modify the stock exhaust to work. There is a connection right where you need to start the modification.Find a good exhaust shop who will use stainless, mandrel bends.
Second, because the bumper is about an inch lower on the sides, you will need to make some sort of spacer for the bottom, side bolts.Really not a big deal at all.
Third, the side bumper bracket/support will need a small(1 inch wide by 3 inches long) cut out of it.The vent on the bumper touches it ever so slightly once everything is in place.
I do have the rear bumper for sale,PM if interested or have any questions.

Stacy

Agreed !
Looking at the GT3 header flanges,I would say it won't work. They seem to be at a different angle.
Instead of buying the aftermarket exhaust modify what you have.

re-routing your existing exhaust would be the cheapest and the most easy way

Well I have PSE so what im planning to do is route the quiet pipe to the outlet on the gt3 bumper then just leave the loud pipe where it is.
