Pics of the 997.2
Here are some more pics of the 997.2. I hope the link works. Note the dual/larger intake for the airbox. Make sure to look at all the pics to see the engine shot.

Really thanks allot for the pictures. I have been searching everywere to see the new dash and steering wheel.
The wheel doesnt look that bad but I still would like paddles
And why a sim slot when it has bluetooth :/

thx for posting- was hoping the gear indicator would be large and prominent like the f-cars. Why make it so small and off to the right?

The best part is the dual air intake. I agree that paddle shifters would be better....although the extended rocker is better than the present.
Sadly, I see the new design as what Detroit has always done. Just a little tweak here and there so a new model could come out as "new" and the public would be sold on having to get the newer, then newer, and then again, newer car that was actually just a rehash of the older models. Now Porsche is not just putting a new chrome strip here and there and calling the car and "new" model, but it close, imho. Anyone have thoughts on this?
So now I'm thinking twice about selling my '79. How retro can you really go? Somehow the simpler cars retain that exciting racetrack feel that is the reason we all got hooked on Porsche cars as kids so many years ago. Am I right on this?

White is becoming a really popular color these days. The main reason is, it shows all the lines that designers worked hard to show other than darker colors. Somehow on the 997, I think I'd like to see it in a darker color to preserve it's class.
