Anyone out there have a carrara white with carrera red interior on a cabrio preferably a C4S however a standard shell will suffice (997). I've done a build your car and have the pictures it produces however nothing like a real pic. Ive seen the pics with in the forum of the turbo coupe however i need to see it on a cabrio.

Another thing anyone have a cabrio with a aero body kit on it or a body of any sort???

Short of it is i'm soon to place my order in and just want to see the combo on a real deal car.

nice indeed thats the colour combo i'm looking at ordering. anyone have a idea of an interior product that would keep the colour from fading or are they colour dyed to not fade.....

Carrara White paint / Carrera Red Interior. (do you think black carpet as opposed to the red carpet?)

19" carrera 2's

If its available and they'll probably sting me an extra $25K the power upgrade kit. On the previous 997 the upgrade went from 261KW/355HP to 280KW/381HP. Seeing the new version starts at 385HP an extra 30HP would be nice. (Im trying to keep it all as stock as possible from factory).

Maybe if possible and depending on how it looks aerokit front bumper if they will only do that. i just think the front looks a little bland...

if anything is to get changed maybe a aftermarket exhaust. again be interested to see what comes in the market once the 997.2 arrives and if it gives that (slush box sound which autos tend to have)

Any suggestions addons etc colour combos to play with would be appreciated.

Now going back to colour I like the white its different however am I correct say it kind of hides that big wide *** look which is ultimately what im wanting....

On a final note the local cars will be coming with Bose / Heated seats / Nav / plus a few other options as standard (cant remember the other things).

 

I love red interiors but one of my friend's pointed out that it is like sitting inside the stomach of a white polar bear.

After that comment I don't like it as much as that image is burned into my mind.

I also think that the red/black 2 tone looks much better and more elegant.

 

Sounds like a great car you're ordering. Colors are personal choice, but if it were mine, I'd order deviating black carpets. Too much red otherwise (in my opinion). Be sure to show photos after delivery, and good luck with the process.

 

u can go for two tone inside as well. Black dashboard read seats

 

I have a 2008 C2S coupe in GT Silver Metallic over Carrera Red. I went with the deviating carpets and am glad I did. I love the red interior but thought the red carpets were a bit too much. The Black carpets really look sharp.

The Carrera Red interior is the natural leather. I haven't owned mine long enough to talk about fading, etc. and mine is garage kept. But my old Honda S2000 with red seats never faded. I expect to continue to keep my leather in good condition with proper cleaning and conditioning and don't expect any fading issues.

+1 I think that it must look amazing. I remember back to the late 80's a buddy had a 1988 BMW 325is, White with a red interior, what a nice looking car.
