I recently traded my 997 for a 05' 996 turbo s cab and have listed some of the oem parts in the merchandise for sale section. All items have about 8,000 miles on them. Here is a quick pic of the new ride pre mods

I am not sure I could do this trade myself.I am just too in love with the '05 bodystyle and interior but do understand that the turbo is/will be quicker?
If I could ask,why you decided to do this?

I know that you had posted quite a bit aboit wanting to speed up the base 997 --now you have that capacity and the car looks fantastic.

It was not easy to make this decision to make and I do miss my carrera. The main reason though at the end of the day was the power. To be honest I love my new car and since it was the 05' s it has some special options which keeps it similar to the 997. So I am happy, and will be checking here often. If you guy's want info on my 997 that I traded feel free to shoot me a p.m.

thanks neil, It's just a totally different experience. I love both cars, but at this stage of my life can't justify having both. I'm trying to own as many different models as possible before I'm out. It's like my "bucket list"

I guess you really are going to be "FASTLANE" in the new car.

HRE C20's are nice wheels, post some pic's when the wheels go on and let us know on this "bored" I don't make my way to the 996 Turbo board at all.
