No real power gains from just an intake, however your options are the Porsche X51 and the Evolution Motorsports units.

If you want 30Hp for cheap buy the Plenum! Sorry I am just being mean today

Do you mean the intake is missing or you want to replace it with an aftermarket one?

Don't bother going w/ any aftermarket intake. It just adds noise; no performance increase unless you do other modifications (ie. exhaust, ECU, etc).

I'm sure they'll be a bunch of posts that claim their 'butt dyno' reports a power and torque increase.

If its for a Porsche and it adds power for $595, its cheap. Get used to paying. Porsche parts cost double, at least, over that of a normal car.

The various options for intake systems:
-Fabspeed, basically an airpipe and optional replacement air filter for stock airbox. About $300.
-K & N, replaces stock airbox. Probably a similar price.
-Evo, replaces stock airbox. About $600.
-Adapting X-51 parts, CF airbox, airpipe & possibly throttle body. Must modify inside of rear deck lid. Guess $1500 + installation.
-Champion airbox, carbon fiber & beautiful. $3500.

Power gains(actual horsepower at the rear wheels, not at the brochure), probably 0 to 10 hp. There are various claims for the Fabspeed, K&N and EVO. Have not seen any claims or dyno postings anywhere for the X-51 or Champion.

If you just want sound, save your money and invest in an exhaust system.

Better yet . . . remove the mufflers completely. That should give you plenty of 'sound'.

the F77 is a carbon fiber box . I loved it in my 997S and with my Turbo bought a Werks1 . I have no photos of the F77 but it has similar featutes as the Turbo in design .

I went with BMC air filter and FABSPEED cold air kit. I don't really know if the evo intake would get be better performance as I do have full exhaust

I installed the K&N FIPK kit, i'm not disappointed but as expected, don't feel much of a gain in power, sounds good though! got it for $300 shipped from a 6speed vendor.
