Driver's side sits lower.. ?

I've noticed on a few occasions that my driver's side sits lower than my passenger side, is that normal? I havn't measured, I guess i could..

No suspension modifications have been made it's 100% stock suspension.

I think its just that the steering and dash feel lower than many other cars . Then get in the passenger seat and it feels higher .

I'm not talking from inside the car, I mean looking at it straight on from the outside. I've noticed it on a few occasions, This time in my garage which i know if 100% level.

I have noted that on my BMW 7 it is the opposite. The passenger side sits lower but I thought this was logical as when you have just one person in the car it would level out.

I just measured, wheels are 100% straight, driver's side corner of the bumper measures 10cm from the ground, passenger is 12cm.

Almost all cars are lower on the drivers side. An observation I made many years ago and have verified with measuring tape.
I've gotten different explanations for this from dealers but one that is consistent is it has to do with alignment specs.

This does not make sense unless the driver is sitting in the car! A car should be level.

It's possible that Chris_FL has a spring or shock issue. What year miles, etc., Chris?

Cars are corner balanced for a reason.

You could have a suspension busihing issue, bad shock, etc.

Do you hear any creaking or knocking especially at very low speeds over a speed bump, uneven drive entry, etc?

I think it bears looking into- It just doesn't sound right.
My pcar is the same all around, as was my 02 996. but then again I did upgrade the suspension on both cars, 1" drop, alignment to GT3 street specs, etc.

when cars are corner balanced the ride height is adjusted with the driver in the car...so if anything, when you are out of the car the drivers side might be slightly higher (depending on spring rates..ect.)...your car is almost .8" lower on the drivers side and will probably be even lower with you in it...that is not even close to correct...you need a good suspension mechanic to look at it and make sure the spring/shock assembly is ok and maybe it just needs a corner balance...did you measure at the drivers door or did you measure front and rear both sides..is the left rear off that much too or just the left front...if it is both front and rear makes me think someone screwed with the height adjustment on that side and it only needs a corner balance then alignment...any funky tire wear issues?
