Guys- I was just down at RSS today and met Greg / Eric. I did a bit of a writeup and just posted it in the 996 forum area. Top notch operation over there and yes there is a positive improvement with the plenum installed.

Anyone know what results would be for a 997 compared to the 997s?

Do a search on "RSS Plenum". There was a dyno plot for the S and Non-S.

Better still, let's debate the merits of a chrome plated plenum. That way we can get even more opinions. We haven't had a good flaming here for at least a week.

^^ Hmm.. Chrome plating or even powder coating would probably be ok. IMO you might want to avoid using camoflage paint. If you hide it too well, the engine will not know it's there and you'll lose your gains.

Someone told me the plenum was all they did to get the 997.2 horsepower up. I guess he missed the boat about the new direct fuel injection
