Wheel spacers - stock wheels

Any one having wheel spacers on C2S with stock wheels, rear and/or front, which size, etc. Pictures are most welcome.

BTW If you add the same size you will need longer bolts.

Corner Balancing & Alignment

Ed, who did your corner balancing and alignment? Were you happy with the results? Looks like this weekend may the the "last gasp" of fall before the wet weather is upon us - hoping to get out for a short run before the long winter's nap. Plans?

I had my alignment and balancing done by Weissach, car drives very well. I also Jerry a Levitt does a great job.

I might be interested, selling my Allroad this weekend (midday Sunday), send me an email as I might be able to bring my son for a little cruise.

I had 7mm F / 15mm R H&R Track Plus spacers with my 19" lobsters. No handling diff but definite improvement on looks.
I was going to swap for 18mm rear spacers because there was still a bit of room and the extra 3mm would be about perfect.

Best price I've found on spacers with correct bolts is from www.automotion.com, ask for the 20% discount and usually they will give it to you (they like closing sales on the phone). The phone reps are also very good about selecting the correct bolts for your spacers and shipping has typically been fast.

I had 7-15 mm on my Cayman, around 100 km/h the car had small oscillation you feel through the wheel. Should we make balancing and alignment after installing WS ?

I fully agree regarding the look improvment.

I have the 7mm f / 15mm r with the classics. I think the back looks perfect, but I wouldn't mind bumping out the front just a touch more. As for the handling I havne't noticed any difference so it really is just cosmetic.

Do you have longer bolts? I have had my car doing 240km/h (150mph) on the track and have not had any vibration.

When I went to 13 mm spacers on my 360 I did notice a slight handling difference, but I did go to oversize tires as well.

I am a fan of spacers but you need longer wheel bolts to match the thickness of the spacer.

Cars always look better with wheels brought out a bit.

Going to new rims that have the same offset built in. So, I will not need the spacers any more and going from a 285 tire to a 325 tire on the rears.
