You never know what is true when southern California is involved.

I hear that chrome wheels is considered cool!

It's not the M-M Act that protects you. It is basic contract law. The M-M act just adds a Federal spin to the warranty to enforce that contact law.

No dealer can unilaterally abrigate a manufacturer's warranty and the manufacturer cannot do so either!

Many cars have chrome wheels in SoCal- Lambo's, Ferraii's and Bentleys as well...it's not that it is cool...it is more that it is forgiven...I think actually that P-Car owners are the toughest sell on the idea, and actually I do understand and I believe my next set will be highly polished with the rims maybe chrome, maybe THAT will be a tad more subtle....

porsch3: Just wondering how the dealer would fix worn leather areas??

"Overall experience has been adequate, and I'd like to point out that he offered to fix a sizeable worn spot on my seat leather for free so at least that was cool".

Not sure- They had a repair / dye specialist come out to their lot and do it on site. Can't even tell it was ever there, looks like factory new

Since everyone has already wandered a way off topic, I saw your car parked at a Quail Hill restaurant (next to WF bank) last week and noticed that you went with the rear script in body color rather than chrome. Looked good. I think polished wheels with chrome lips (be easy Ed) look great, and would go nicely with your great looking chrome exhaust tips.
