Will 315 Tires fit on my 19" Carrera S wheels?

Will they fit on or will I have to use spacers?

If so what size spacers?

 

if i understand ur question correctly, no. spacers are used to space out the wheel from the brake hub. has nothing to do with the tire. if ur wheel is not wide enough the tire would not fit on it properly.

 

My rear wheels are 11" wide.

From what i have read online a 315 mm tire should fit fine on a 11" wheel.

My question is: Has anyone on here run a 315 on the rear of their 997 or 997S?

 

ic. thought u're saying stock wheel which is not 11''. 11'' for 315 is fine just watch for the correct profile.

You might have an issue with rubbing. It seems most people don't go wider than a 305 tire on a NB. However I could be wrong.

Why would you want to put 315 on your car?

 

got a good deal on a set for the track.

 

I'm running 315s on 18X11.5" wheels with a 7mm spacer on my 997S. No rubbing, but I'm also running -3.2 degrees of camber, which could be why I'm not rubbing. Also, this is not with a stock suspension, but with Motons, which ALSO might keep it from rubbing.

 

OK that is a good reason, what kind of tires are they?
