Natural leather??
Completely different. Standard leathers, including Cocoa and Terracotta, are painted leathers. Overtime the paint will wear off and will look like a scuffed pair of shoes. The natural leathers are better grade hides, and are dyed rather than painted. Over time they age naturally and beautifully like an old leather sofa or good quality leather jacket. The difference is remarkable, and IMHO worth every penny extra. It will be in my next car.

My '09 S is Carrera White with natural brown leather - I am so pleased with the look, feel and smell from the leather, I can almost convince myself it was worth the $'s (adaptive seats $2695 and natural leather $5165, yikes!)

I agree.. the natural leather is very different from standard.. much softer/pliable compared. Also has a much stronger leather smell and texture compared to the standard. I have it in my black interior and like it.

Disagree
If you treat them properly dyed leathers wear far better than the painted leathers. Look at a 30 year old car with dyed leather and one with painted leather and it's no contest. The painted leather looks like sh*t and feels baggy, the dyed leather has that wonderful patina of age and still feels comfortable to sit in. I've had painted leathers refinished and they pretty quickly look tatty again. If you're going to keep a car for longer than 3 years go for the good stuff, it's well worth it.

Not sure
My friend in England who has a DB6 and a Jaguar Mk II uses Connolly Leather cleaner and hide "nourisher". Can't remember the exact names. Dan though, is most likely the best to ask as he is here and has experience of the Porsche interior rather than vintage cars.
I had very good luck with Lexol and Sonus on previous cars. However, for the natural leather the input of several Porsche owners and detailers led me to Leatherique. I have had very good luck with this product so far.
