2006 997 C2S
8700 miles
CPO
X51 Power Kit
Original sticker of $107K
asking $59,900

Another good deal?
This looks good . The car has the X51 upgrades yet remains very basic in options . No Nav, chrono, carbon, aluminum --no frills --but lots of engine -decent ask price too. Low miles. Cupholder alum looks detatched but that's nothing .

All it need is suspension tweak and a little interior upgrades.

Yeah, I think its a good deal, and could be a great deal if you can negotiate a few stacks off.

It is light on options, but I'd take the X51 over full leather, chrono and nav any day.

I hear what you're saying, but how much of a risk are you running if it's a CPO?? What wouldn't be covered?

Plus its a non cpo car . No rating. Risk.
BTW, in California there is no sales tax saving on the trade-in value. You are taxed on the total purchase price regardless of trade-in.

As others have said, the starting bid may have no relation to the final selling price, and is not indicative of the real "price" or market value of a similar car. I noticed he described the seats as "sport leather". The car does not have full leather.

BTW, what is to stop a seller from having a friend bid it up to a reserve price as a way to avoid selling at a lower cost?

That's called shill bidding. I'm sure it happens all the time on big ticket items, there's not much you or eBay can do to prevent it.

Price going Up

Well, bad news for those who wanted to buy the car for 46K, but good news for us who already have P cars. The price is up to $55,600.00 with 6 days to go. Looks like it's gonna go for 60K or so.
