I think Miami is just a hotbed for this type of activity! Not only were the 996 headlights a huge problem, but I know a lot of S2000 owners had their seats/HIDs ripped out practically every time they were replaced back in the day!

All we can really do is be vigilant about where we park and hope for the best...

 

It sickens me that when you buy any of the 2nd hand units you might be buying your own lights back.

 

My neighbor had his S2000 seats stolen TWICE and both times the thieves destroyed to convertible top to get to them !! He sold the car shortly thereafter the second repair.
