Where can I buy oem gauge face overlay in colors? In Carrera S, are they white or silver? How much is it to buy the entire oem cluster? thanks

 

The Guards Red OEM cluster in my 997.1 is defective (tiny air bubbles), so the dealer is going to install a new cluster under warranty. I will find out next week how much the cluster costs.

Seems it is about $2000 for the OEM gauge cluster. Porsche does not sell just the overlay - you have to buy the complete unit. Try eBay for somthing cheaper. See here:

White I believe - but black was a no cost option and for extra $$ there was red, yellow, beige/tan and silver?. I don't believe there was any change to the gauge cluster for 2009 (997.2). There is Carrera White which might have a slivery look to it compared to standard white.

I know I have seen a cluster where the tach was a different color than the other gauges - I'm not sure if it could be ordered that way from the factory or if that was aftermarket.

 

Do you know if suncoast sells new 09 cluster with pdk? If so how much?

 

Let's say if i find a used cluster from ebay, and after i install it myself, do i need to make a trip to dealer to have them reprogram the new cluster? Or will my car automatically display correct mileage, etc as before? thanks
