washer fluid question

Hey All,
sounds a bit silly but i keep wondering when is the washer fluid gonna run out. I've got the car for 1yr and 3 months now and have 12.5k miles on it. I drive in all weather and its just funny to me that I've still not had to add washer fluid. I wouldn't say I use it alot but I it still seems weird, on my other cars I add every 2 months or so?????

Have you taken the car in to the dealer for any service or warranty repairs?

Dealers tend to top up windshield washer fluid when even my car(s) are in for any kind of work.

Probably hooked up to your coolant and when you run out the engine will self distruct. :>)

I believe that the washer fluid reservoir is very large. So it takes a while for you to use it up. Check the owner's manual for capacity.

It's a fairly large resevoir and dealership might have topped it off on a routine service.

first things first: THE DEALER NEVER SEES MY CAR, LOL, actually I own a few repair shops so I do all my own work, unless its warranty, but no really I cant believe I haven't hit the bottom of this thing, still using it now just to see when it will run out.

Larry T - whats up man, nice to hear from you, hope all is well and hope to see u around this season.
Larry (Yrralis1)- whats going on bud, how is your Beast treating you?

My only guess is that since the Porsche service intervals are somewhat lengthy they equipped the car with a large reservoir . I haven't filled mine either . I have 8K miles on my car.

Come on! Read your owner's manual ! With the headlight washer system, the capacity is 6+ quarts!! That is quite alot - Is this to improve the front / back weight ratio? :>)
