Got new Shoes On!
dksu dont worry....I experienced exactly your same problem with the gen 1 997 carrera non pasm. I got the wb offset carrera classics for a great deal (just like you did) put them on my car on the stock suspension and the car looked just like yours...ok but not perfect (wheels stuck out a bit) and then I lowered the car with h&r springs and put a slight neg camber and the drop made a huge difference wheels were flush with the fender they didnt rub or stick out at all. So congrats on your new ride and the great deal on the wheels, just drop and neg camber a bit and will look perfect trust me.
Thank you Kaz. You made my day. Thank you lord

BTW here is a pic i took today from the back. I'm really starting to think that it is the tires that make it look more pronounced. The Michelin tires flare out a lot, starting from the middle of the tire going down to lower edge of tire, where it meets the rim. Anyways, my verdict is to lower the car and i will be completely happy. Thanks for the input guys

I recently took delivery of white 997.2 C2 just like yours. I think the wheels look fine. I'm thinking about replacing my stock wheels with 19" set as well and keep my stock wheels for the track. Seems like you got a great deal. I'm jealous.
Congrats. I wanted to stay with stock rims. I narrowed it down to 09 carrera s II wheels and Painted black carrera sport design. I love my new wheels.
. Makes it look so much better than my old 18 stock rims

Yes, this is true. Different manufacturers have different sidewall profiles. My 305 Michelins stuck out more than my 315 Falkens.
If you don't want to lower your car, I think going 295 in the rear will make a world of difference. Just looking at that close-up shot you took from the rear, it seems like everything will pull in at least 5mm and that will make the wheels flush to the fender.
I have a 06 NB, and put 15MM spacers on the rear of an ET67 wheel, which would give me an effective ET52 wheel... I have 295 on the rear and the wheels don't look funny and I don't need to drop the car, etc.
I DO have PASM, though... so who knows...
