that is definitely not normal, sounds like the clutch is gone or perhaps the clutch pressure is too low. (which would actually be the cause of the clutch's death)

the OP's issues can be written off as normal though. keep in mind this is a manual gearbox. however, it could mean Porsche is about to have a very expensive recall...

One of the Euro mags describe the car as lightly "goosing" the throttle in slow moving traffic conditions ie stop/go rather than smoothly slipping the clutch.
