Beatiful car but priced a liitle high for a non CPO 06 vehicle. The mods are worth 15 percent of what they cost new . You need to inspect paint and geta full DME scan of the car . The car is worth 55K at best with the mods pending full inspection. Find out what software was on the car and if the factory warranty is still valid .

It is real nice . Color/Options are top notch .

its a buyer's market but no full leather does take away from the car imo. look at a full leather car and you will never see the non leather cars the same.

if thats not a high priority, then get the aforementioned dme scan and talk them down to high 50's

The car already has a pre purchase inspection done from Porsche of Orlando and would retain the remainder of the warranty.

I'm looking at the pictures . I'm really liking it . If you can live without the CPO then it's a worth a peek . Starting bid would be 53K and close no higher than 56.5.

Pending a full exam .

It lacks a CPO though .
Do you have a DME scan ? Explanation below -you need this before the final decision. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-over-rev.html

I like the car a lot though

Well, great advice indeed. Talking with the dealership, they have declined $57k and so it seems this would not be a smart move. Thanks. I guess I will wait and see if they will call back and accept at a later time.

The car is mint btw.

They are asking 61 and they decined 57? I guess they don't like to sell cars?

The mods do cost time and money . That techart kit will cost a bit of money. I'm not a huge fan of H and R springs and prefer Damptrnocs or even the Techart springs to match the kit .They also didn't reveal the software and i find it hard to imagine taht the car left those lobster claw wheels on them .

57 sounds like a very fair offer on your part .

Final thought -- if they call you in a few days stick to yoir offer but ask for a DME scan . Exterior and interior look immaculate visually but a paint meter will answer that too.

It's not like buying a CPO . Once you drive off a used car lot .. it's "as is" and you are on yoir own so you have to nail it right before you write the check.

Nice mods if that's your thing; probably cost 8-9 grand and they're asking $5-6k for them. 19" wheels standard on "S", so I'm guessing the 18's are to lower it even further; do you want a car sitting this low (better check the driveways you'll be using)? Good low mileage, but warranty is about over. I'd get a thorough PPI from one of the Porsche independants in your area - there are several good ones within 20 miles of Longwood. If everything is fine then a decent buy in the 57-58k range. Lastly, as a first time buyer, I'd consider a CPO vehicle from one of the area's Porsche dealers.

I thought lobster claws were 19 . Can someone who has them advise?
18 in wheels implies it was tracked . The DME scan will tell exactly how the car was driven .

probably cost 8-9 grand and they're asking $5-6k for them.
Factor in installation cost and time he would save a lot to have this right out of the box .

All he needs are wheels and a flash (if it doesn't already have one) and he's done . I really like the car .

Hey guys, I so appreciate the responses, I am going to pass. This dealership has been trying to hard sell the car and from all the research I have done, just not worth the asking price. Thanks again!!!

Smart move . You can always buy a car and mod it just like that one WITH a CPO . They lost you.

I respect your philosophy on this from choosing that nice car to walking away from it . Welcome aboard. You'll get a car soon enough.

I think you are probably wise. I had meant to add earlier that the dealer's ad said "Carfax Certified" and I'm pretty sure this is BS (there is no such thing).

Good Night

stardoc is infamous around these parts
Wheels look definitely 19's and are in need of an upgrade for such a big drop. Great color but the body kit is not to everyone's taste. I personally really like it esp. once wider wheels are added. I agree with Yrralis1, mid $50's at most but you never know how desperate the stealer gets. I would wait a few weeks and come up with an offer of $54k.
Good luck.
