New Battery

I just got my 2006 C2S. It had 9600 miles and was a garage queen. It seems likes the battery is going. It has a hard time starting. New battery? What is the best one to get.

Not sure if there really is a "best" battery. I have heard sears diehard batteries are popular replacement. I opted to go with a smaller optima lightweight battery with a aluminum battery holder. Its arguable whether there are any performance benefits. I have not had an probs with it dying even after a week of not driving. If interested can send you some pics of the install.

If you get an Optima, you'll need to get a modified hold down. Search and you'll find the Interstate model # that's a direct replacecment.

I went with a Braille CF battery. Lightweight though total overkill (underkill?). Also had to modify the Braille bracket to fit. Just another option.

Sorry not optima... thinking of different car. I meant I went with smaller "odyssey" battery pc925. Purchased through summit racing. Battery holder is through rennline. Heres a link to another forum member post who did the same thing:
