I don't have a lock with my spacers. I find it is a PIA and if someone really wants your wheels they will get them!

I also agree that it is a PIA . My spacers came with the longer bolts including one "lock" bolt per wheel. I am going to get rid of the"lock" bolt

If you really want longer locking lug bolts you can get them here

http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...de=996361XXX02

or buy 4 of these

If you're using any thickness greater than 7mm you probably won't find any "lockers".

If you are dead set on getting locks, then you can research and find a car with longer stock bolts but ensure that the threads are the same and that the head style is the same as well (flat vs. concave). I had to do this with a BMW and had luck contacting McGard (www.McGard.com).

They may be able to point you in the right direction. Tell them what car you have and they can see what style the stock wheel locks are and then find a longer version of them (if the exist).

I'm running the OEM Porsche bolts and locks that are made for the 5mm spacers on my H&R 7mm spacers. I measured them and they are about 7 mms longer than the stock ones...

the longer bolts are under greater stress and probably need extra 'bite' to properly secure. i dont think its a 1 to 1 ratio of spacer thinckness to bolt lenght.

you probably wont have problems but i'd rather get the h&r bolts for the 7mm

H&R and all other spacer manufacturers recommend an increase of bolt length of the same thickness of the spacer. Porsche, being a conservative OEM manufacturer, goes overkill as usual...
