I'm not putting it down, in fact I like the PDK. I just like the 6-speed more! I'm just more old-school. I like the "nostalgia" of the manual transmission, but the convenience of PDK is pretty cool too. It's a fine balancing act to determine which one is the better fit for a given situation, and like it's been said, it really boils down to the individual.

Bro, you seem to be a little unhinged about my comments!

The original poster, while putting up his thoughts about PDK, also said this:

"I still didn´t made up my mind, I´m really strugling not to make the wrong decision here."

In other words, he was soliciting comments / advice from people like you and I to give him in his decision making process. Like I said, I've test driven the PDK as well, and I find it to be just fine.

But, for me, I like having the 6 speed manual transmission. It is more more engaging than any tiptronic or PDK could ever be...at least to me. That's all I was saying.

Now, if I were driving in log-jam traffic conditions every day (which I am NOT), then I might well rethink that. I don't track anymore, and I don't drive competitively in any way these days, but I still enjoy having my left leg / foot doing something when I'm driving my 997.

So, to each their own...just my 2 cents.

My beauty has arrived today at dealer. Like my dealer said in May, car was deliver in less time than Factory predicted. I´m out of the country right now, and will have to waite more 15 painful days to see my car ...Gosh, these are going to be hard times, can´t waite for the "D" day ...

Maybe seeing some of your cabs or coupes will help me passing the days , so time for pics now ...
