Overide Button for PSE

Overide Button for PSE
I've just finished installing a PSE , complete with a manual overide button to my 987S. Though its a Boxster the control wiring for the PSE is identical to the 997 , so the overide switch I installed may be of interest to those on this part of the forum. The purpose of the switch is to allow the driver to control the PSE and if required , leave the system permanently in active or "loud" mode without the need to activate every time the car is started. The overide also prevents the rear ECU (DME) from switching the PSE back to quiet mode between 20 and 40 mph. Its a simple mod to do and the way that i approached it doesnt require any cutting of the existing wiring. Here is a link to the thread.

Nice thread,--good job. But I can't for the life of me hear a difference. When I run my system with the PSE on there is no mistaking it. Without the PSE it is much more subdued. Nice work on the homemade switch. There are few home craftsmen left out there!
