Ok, I've had my '07 997 C2S for about 3 weeks and I am about done with making it "mine." Here's that I've done so far (see my albums for pics):
- Painted headlight washers matte black
- Painted Carrera S decklid emblem black
- Clear markers
- Silver hood crest from Pcars.com
- 35% tint front, 50% back
- Installed factory short shift kit
- Swapped Sport Wheel for Standard wheel
- Retrofit multi function controls to new wheel
- Had wheel padded and wrapped in black Alacantara
- Added black Alacantara to shifter front strap
- Had visors redone in leather to match interior
- Had center consol lid redone in leather to match interior
- Retrofit Cayenne XM
- Replacing 19" Sport Designs with 19" Champion RG5s
- 245/35-19 PS2s front & 305/30-19 PS2s back
- Black vinyl covers over visor mirror airbag stickers
- H&Rs
- MoBridge ipod & bluetooth kit
- MoBridge DA1000 MOST bus interface (hopefully released next month) with Toslink to...
- Audison Bit One with line outs to...
- Old school RF Punch 150 bridged to sub (TBD) and...
- Old school a/d/s PH15.2 to be running Boston Z6s up front and Boston Pro 6.2 mid-basses in back for fill

Do not use the TruStrip. Just wipe down with some denatured alcohol. Spray the new emblems while on the backing sheet. Do 4-5 coats 5-10 minutes apart. Let sit for a couple days to cure. Use painters tape to mark edges of old emblem on car. Use dental floss to cut off old emblems. Use denatured alcohol again to remove remaining adhesive. Put new emblems on. Viola!

No problem. My hobby is competitive shooting and I've used Duracoat to finish several firearms. It is VERY durable and should far work better than any conventional paint one would use for this type of task. This is also what I used to paint my headlamp washers.
