Finished......GMG Tuned 997S inside!
Finally picked up my 997S today from GMG.
My modification philosophy is more OEM+ than anything so I stuck to OEM where I could or OEM inspiration. The basic look I was going for was something similar to a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. Who better to setup my car than GMG Racing. I think they achieved the look I was going for!!
I have to say that James, Fabryce, and John at GMG are nothing but true professionals. They were patient with my extreme OCD when it comes to my car.
Specs:
2006 997S Aero from the factory with OE SSK.
GMG Mods:
GMG WC center exit exhaust
GMG/BBS E88's (19 X 11 and 19 X 9)
GMG CF Spoiler Wicker
Bilstein Damptronics
GMG Corner Balance and Alignment (ROW GT3 height)
GMG prepped/installed OEM Euro GT3 Rear Valence

some comments and questions:
very nice C2S! looks awesome. can you take some clearer pics from more angles when you get the car back?
1. whats the CF wicker? how does it attach to the wing and do you have better pics of it? cost? doesnt screw up the aero balance by giving too much down force to the rear?
2. is the EU rear gt3 bumper a straight fit? what happens to the bumperetts? cost?
3. are these wheels new or the same ones you posted a while back? if same, how did you get them to stick back in under the car?
4. how does the exhaust sound? is it tame enough for street driving/conversing? cost? are there other center choices out there?

Euro GT3 Bumper has no bumperetts which is why I went with the Euro version. It requires the Euro heat shield in order to work.
The E88's are new. I had LM's before. Stick back in under the car? I think what you are seeing is the lowered stance now that I am on coilovers.
Exhaust is wicked...just plain wicked.... sounds like a cup car! There is a video on GMG's site.... normal driving is fine. Theres only a couple other center exit choices out there. AWE and FVD I think both make center exits....
I will take some of my own pics soon!
