Which aftermarket muffler makes the deepest tone for a C2S? I looking for a something similar to the sound an STi flat four makes with an aftermarket muffler.

I think CG but I love my Tubi.

Stay away from the Fabspeed it has a horrible rasp at hi RPM .

 

Mmmm I like the high pitched cry of the Cup cars.... AWE or GMG for me!

Europipe has a deep but subtle sound.

But again, this is very subjective!!

 

Until you do the 200 cpi cats..then you get both..deep on the bottom end of the tach and a high pitch rip at the topend.

I owned a Subaru with an aftermarket exhaust and I can't figure our why you'd want to make a Porsche sound like that. You could have it so much better. AWE, GMG, Cargraphic, Tubi - take your pick.

 

I agree..to each his own. IMHO the H4 or pancake 4 motor has one of the worse sounding engine notes I have ever heard. It always sounds like it has a miss.

Either way you will never get that sound (thankfully) out of the H6 motor.

+1. I have complete respect for Subaru's. I lived in upstate NY when they first came to the US. They were unstoppable and bulletproof. Our daughter drives a Forrester and their high performance cars are amazing. But they sound like farm machinery. Always have.
