Asked the service advisor who managed the PPI about it and he doesn't know how to answer that question so he is going to have a tech call me.

2500 hours @ 0 mph! I just vurped.

I'd say it's more likely 4850 hours @ 0mph, and ~150 hours @ > 175mph, possibly looking for the right big rig to run into head-on, in order to avoid another 4850 hours @ 0mph!

Interesting about the hours. My car had 20k miles and had 990 hours. But that could be just the misread hour counter. Would also suggest though that the overrev was much more recent.

The tech never did call me....but I think I may give him a call tomorrow to get some clarification...

At the beginning of the Vehicle Analysis Log there is a summary....

Operating hours counter: 5013.400 h

Later on under Measurements:

Operating time since powerfail: 609.400 h (I asked the tech about this and he thinks it was probably due to a battery failure)

Operating time since first start (w/ EEPROM): 5013.400 h
Operating hours counter: 1147.800

It would look like the 1147.8 operating hours is more accurate and then the avg MPH would be 20.9.....which in turn means the over rev happened much more recently.... DOH.

what's the story with "Operating time since first start (w/ EEPROM): 5013.400 h"

Anyone know what it means?
