i think it looks different. as bad as i want them, i dont' want to take away from the OEM look. It looks a bit busy but seriously ur car just looks off the hook otherwise.
White is the next best thing.

I like it. Where did you get the led strip and was it tricky opening up the lens housing to install it?

I bought the led strip on ebay and I also bought a used housing on ebay to try this out. Taking it apart was really tricky as a heat gun and oven didn't work (the silicone they use is really good. What i had to do was break a peace in the back and then with a knife slowly broke apart the silicone (took forever). I'm waiting to see it at night to decide if I should do the other side or if I should just leave it stock.

Thanks for the compliments lil raja, your car looks really sweet as well. White is the nicest color on these cars imo. I know it looks a bit busy up close but when u see it from a few feet back it looks similair to the 997.2, I just wish these fog housings were cheaper so I could just do it all and go back to stock easily if i get sick of it.

Thanks for the tips in case I decide to do mine. It definitely takes guts, skill, and sometimes a little luck to take housings apart without breaking the lens. Nice work on tackling this and good luck with the other side.

Looks very similar to SpeedArt's conversion. Nicely done:

I think it looks fantastic. Nice work. Can you PM me the details on the LED piece? I have two spare front light housings and might want to try it. How/where did you wire it in?
Thanks

Thanks for the compliments. I bought the led strips on eBay for like 20 bucks. Just search for led strip, they are waterproof rubber looking strips. As for opening you need to break the plastic that goes around the clear front and then use a knife to pry it open. I plugged it in where I normally have the drls and put a resistor to not set off any lights.

Nice job. I like it. When/if you do the other side, a step-by-step "how to" with photos would be fantastic.

I'm surprised that Stacy "Justatoy" hasn't developed one yet, being the resourceful person he is.

I think it looks great. I'm wary, though, of breaking the assembly to do the mod only because of your statement that Porsche's silicone is very good (meaning, I'd worry about how impermeable it would be once I finished with it).

But a great job, nonetheless!
