Do we need to open the PDK gearbox and swamp the clucth with big $$$$ amounts of headackes????
On a 6 speed you just need to drop the transmission/motor and swamp the disc, with reasonable labour and parts work, with a PDK it must be a HUGE bill to get a new clutch, or I am wrong

Ask your dealer - you'll probably get the same "gloss" job that you get when you ask "what if I get a flat tire?"
Kind of a "who knows" question though since no one with PDK has likely had to pay anything for any repairs yet.

The PDK clutches are engineered to last the life of the car - a std 200k miles. Stuff happens though and I imagine that if the tranny is constantly pushed and LC is used more than a few times, yes, wear will occur. I have no interest in using LC at all - not even once - that's not what these cars are all about. I suspect though that a lot of PDK cars will be seriously abused, especially by short time owners who flip them.

I will use it with a smile on my face
Thatīs what this cars are for, fun fun fun. Iīm asking this question regarding the clutch, because I intend to use this car on a extreme way, with lots of drifts, slides and so on. For me this car is a pure toy, nothing more than that. Back in 1998, I bought a 2.5L Boxster, and drop the 3.4L Carrera engine on it with some good engine mods. That car didnīt had traction control, and the 5 speed gearbox was good for only 270Kph top speed, so you can imagine how short the ratios were. I could drift that car in straight line, really amazing and funny little toy. In the wet I wont even tell you
