That sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe I'll join you guys in the future when my car is finally broken in.

How about Ortega Hwy in OC? Anybody push their Porsche through that road?

Nice pics kiet420, thanks for sharing! What is your experience with law enforcement up there? Just curious what to expect on a Sunday morning. A thread has been started in the So Cal forum for anybody interested in coming out on the 30th. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...8-30-09-a.html

Thanks,

Jay

I used to live about 10 minutes from there and from my mid teens through my early 30s I would ride motorcycles up there. I mainly rode the 26.2 miles from the bottom to Newcombs Ranch.

If you are going to ride or drive there now plan to go the speed limit. It is heavily patrolled especially Sundays. A weekday between about 1-4 in the afternoon is a better time to go. It is a nice drive and 10 minutes up you feel like you have left the city.

Thanks Jay, we had a blast bro! We didn't see any cops till near the top... Keep an eye on the traffic going the opposite way, the bikers will usually tap the top of their helmets to let you know they saw police on the way down/up, cars will tap their roof. That's not saying the cop will be right around the corner, they're just telling you they saw one on the way down, and that you will soon see him as well. Damn, I'll be outta town the 30th, but the week before is good for me. If not, just PM next time, I got 2 or 3 others that will join. Have fun and be safe guys!

Jay I would come just to see your white/black 4S.... That thing looks sick! Perfect color, I think that's the first I seen in that color.

Steph,

Ortega is very busy, especially starting at the equestrian park. It would ease up if they ever restart the widening projects.

Hey muifast, go ahead and confirm in the West/So Cal forum, we have a thread going for the 30th. We still need to firm up the time and the meeting spot. I'm hoping somebody who is familiar with this route can assist in choosing a good meeting spot before we get rolling.

Jay
