Porsche Website Search

Anyway to do a search on model, color, etc that spans all the Porsche USA dealerships without having to click on each dealership and do an individual dealer search?

Dealers can-- we cannot, as far as I'm aware.

Just search on the main Porsche USA website (http://www.porsche.com/usa/)

Left side tab "Pre-owned Vehicles"
Select "Pre-owned Search"
Then, select "USA"

This will give you cars available in all US dealerships.

Yes, there is. I've attached a link below illustrating a couple of examples to search for color and/or model. I noticed that some listings come up more than once, but with the few that do, it beats searching dealers on Porsche website.

"atlas grey metallic" siteorschedealer.com/new_cars/search.php?model=997
"carrera S coupe" siteorschedealer.com/new_cars/search.php?model=997

Sure. I left an important piece out You need to place this link (not url as I indicated) into Google search bar. So, first go to google.com, then paste the search link in their search window. I did notice that in my response 6speedonline added a smiley face for the P in Porsche that you'll have to make sure is a P.

That should work, if not, let me know.

C2Spin, I put in the "p" and tried the Google search bar but I get "did not match any documents." Maybe it has something to do with my ip, or my using windows, I tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Search

I was wondering the exact same thing! It sure would beat having to spend hour after hour searching on each dealer site!

Try this: replace the with a : followed by a p . You'll notices that part of the URL will now read as site: followed by porshchedealer.com ...

(I hope this makes sense to the readers.)

Good info. Wish I had known, spent one night and part of a morning bringing up every dealer in the USA and searching their site.

I did that too -- went to every dealer in mainland US and Canada to see what they had - then double checked with their own sites as they were often different.

A lof of times the dealers outsource the management of their sites and the inventory isn't always current. They also play games with what's listed to move the cars they want to move first. It's a good starting point, but if you're serious best to call around or hire a broker.
