How Low to go?

So I've just noticed the average 06 CPO drop to about $49K.
I've begun the hunt and am wondering what's a realistic price
to expect to get away with. I have a friend that just picked up an 06 Cab
with 6k miles for $43k.

I don't mind waiting for the right car but I have a budget to stick to.

Nugget is infamous around these parts
I don't think the price is unreasonable. All the great promotions Porsche has going right now to move new cars has really had an impact on used car pricing. A used 911, even with CPO, has to be pretty damn cheap to compete with a $10K cash back 1.9% financed '09 car.

Brief search shows bulk of such cars on cars.com in $55K-$66K area. From what I see it is higher than in July, and in July best price possible for such CPO would be $50-$54K.
