Interesting....has rear bumperettes, could be a US spec car at the factory in Germany. Still hate the fugly wheels and dash wart.

I can't really tell it's a 997 except by the rims and dash. Maybe that's why 997 aren't selling well

It seems like the folding softtop has been redesigned and sits more flush in it's space. Not as bulbous as I recall and with the sections, probably a more compact, sophisticated manner in which it stores itself. Anyone with further insights?

I agree the top looks the same. I like it, and this is an S version with extra HP as compared to the 996 cab. The only way to get extra HP before was to order the X51 package, which was cost prohibitive. Much better to get it like this with the extras that come with the S. I guess the starting MSRP will be about 90K?
