That's nothing. FVD can be of help . Even my 95 Db version sounds better than the stock gt3 and they have a sound version too . Shoot me your e mail and I'll send you a sound clip .
No sport cats yet for the 997.2 unless you change out the headers....cats are connected to the headers on the 09
Even better, hi flow cats and headers sound great on my car.
You can always purchase in stages to get exactly the sound you want, rather than bolting up a complete system right out of the gate. Fabspeed's new Dual-Tone mufflers get my recommendation as a starting point. They allow you to switch between and loud and quiet, and if Loud is 'loud enuff' you can swap headers/cats as well. An intake also helps to change the exhaust note more than people usually realize. More air in = more air out.

There are no intakes for the 997.2 NONE S yet... Why not get a BYPASS? fabspeed, awe, they all make 1, you can either by pass the middle muffler, or the 2 side mufflers, or go all out and by pass all 3...Im prob going to do the 2 side muffler delete and see how that goes, if its not loud enough ill remove the middle muffler as well, or replace the middle muffler with a small resonator

Check out Fabspeed's Side Muffler Delete Pipes. These delete the heavy side mufflers and you only use the center muffler/resonator. This set up is pretty loud, sounds good if you do not mind some drone from 2000-2400rpm. I have been using this system for the last 8000 miles on my car
Check out Rennsport-1 Center Muffler. This set up deletes the heavy side muffler but add a better sound than the Fabspeed set up I listed above. It is a lettle deep sounding with a nice wail at the higher rpm's. Over all it is more livable on the street. I visited Rennsport early this month and dem'd this system on there car and was very impressed. I loved the sound and weight savings.
Check out a full Tubi system. Tubi will give you a raspy higher Euro type of sound with very light weight side mufflers. They offer a little more sound at idle but when you get on the gas they will really open up, There is not much exhaust sound cruising down the highway at 2000-2400rpms so that way you can hear the stereo or talk on your cell. I just installed this Tubi system on my car to check it out. It came with a deal along with a new Cayanne....don't ask long story.
I hope this helps.

I mean, silent at low RPM's and opens up as you floor the car ?
Is the TUBI sound acceptable ? I heard a clip posted by Alex of Sharkwerks and the start up was nice, but the fly bys were not so refined..
I just got back from a morning breakfast drive and the car has ZERO drone and is stock like driving around town. The exhaust sound opens up at part to full throttle above 3500 rpms. The sound is a refined euro sound. I find the overall sound totally acceptable for the street and actually wish it was louder...but that is me. For a dailey driver weekend fun toy the Tubi sounds great. For the 09-10 cars...if you want something a little less Euro sounding and deeper but louder check out the Rennsport-1 Center muffler system.
Here you got me happy:
Now you confused me again:
Funny... Well, the thing is that I have a Sharkwerks bypass pipe and while it has perfect fitment, zero drone and whatsoever, I am looking for side mufflers to complement a louder, yet nice sound
So far I've heard only the TUBI side mufflers (8 out of 10 in my book) and the FABSPEED dual tone mufflers, loud version (7 out of 10)
Rennsport-1 put a set of Cargraphics side mufflers together with a Sharkwerks bypass pipe, but it takes an eternity for them to post the video
and hear how it sounds

Carfan, try to not totally make a decesion on the sound of a certain system with what you are hearing on a YouTube video. The cheap mics in these consumer camcorders plus the compressed sound in the video over the internet make these systems sound nothing like they actually sound in person. You can get somewhat of an idea...a small idea at that...of certain systems but try not to totally base what you hear on your computer with what the real thing sounds like.
Since you already have the Sharkwerks center pipes the Tubi mufflers will bolt right up no problem.
Sorry to confuse you...but I probably like my car louder than most on these forums. The Tubi system to me is the volume level that I feel the stock Porsche should come with. Tubi did a great job with sound, exhaust flow, and zero drone. If you have every driven or heard a Porsche Carrera with a PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) and you like that you will love the Tubi system.
I still wnat to hear IN PERSON a Cargraphic system and the new Fabspeed Max Flo Dual Core mufflers. I had Fabspeed mufflers on my 06 and 07 Carrera S and loved them. They sounded awesome and were built extremely well.
