Oil pressure gauge....CF ques....
Oil pressure gauge....CF ques....
Hey guys, have about 800 miles on the car and just the other day it stated that the oil was getting low. Measured it and needed 1/2 qt Mobil 1 0W-40 but noticed that the oil pressure gauge stays in constant motion while driving. At idle it is about 2/5 and when the revs are up it goes to 5/5. Is this normal or do I need to add more oil so that all bars are solid? Forgive my ignorance.......
Another question, my car has CF interior and Cf illuminated sills. Wanted to add CF upper side mirrors and CF chrono (wart) cover. Do any of you guys know which CF offering from any of these vendors matches up the best? Thanks guys.....

Check out Suncoast and Macarbon for interior CF, and for exterior, check out Rotteccarbon.com, I just purchased a CF front lip and a rear window spoiler, they look great!
I'm sure you will be able to find every single of your needs, but its costly

No problems checking the oil level, that's easy. I had questions about the pressure gauge and its costant motion. Never had a car that did that before.
Thanks, will check into those vendors. Was on Macarbon's site recently and will check Rotteccarbon tonight.....
you live in a hot climate like I do, when its really hot the oil pressure gauge will vary from a little over 1 at idle to 5 when youre driving hard. When the temp outside is lower than 90 or so the viscosity of the oil seems to change and the oil gauge will run between 2 at idle and 5 driving.

Thanks for the info..... Just making sure she is running properly. Anyone with 'real world' carbon fiber interior or exterior pics? Much appreciated... Certainly don't want to 'overdo' it.
