Body kits for 997.2

Techart is overdone for my taste... The front spoiler is nice, but the side skirts are too thick/big... The only rear wing I like is the Type III...

Speedarts products are too bling, bling...

FVD has a front spoiler simmilar to the 997.1 GT3, but they are asking $ 980.00 for it !?!?

The Aerokit for the 997.2 cars is still not available

Some parts of the SC (Sport Classic) would be very nice, but surely not available for a long time

Do you have any other sources ? I would like a nice front spoiler and decent side skirts. Just want a subtle change for the appearance of my car

Got a few pix here from our car but I really do like the type 1 kit (nice and subtle):

I agree about the sideskirts...I had them on my 997.....GREAT fit but too thick IMO as well!
They took away from the wider rear!

I ended up building my own....wonder IF there is anyone local to me to try a set of my design sideskirts on......just to check fitment!?

Alex that looks great. I like the fact it is understated and how the light hits it in picture 2. Very classy.

I don't think there's anything wrong with mixing and matching some of the aftermarket tuner kits out there to get the look you want.

I have:
Front Bumper - Porsche OEM GT3
Rear Bumper - Rinspeed Indy
Side Skirts - TechArt
Wheels - HRE

TechArt Type 1 gets my vote. I was never into the GT3 looks; quite a departure from most people.

I Agree some parts from the SC (Sport Classic) would be great, I would love some of the parts on that car...

Ducktail from new SC looks absolutely gorgeous on close-up pictures and fits very organically into overall 911 contour.

All other wings out there smell outright 'ricer' to me. Small one as listed above is not that bad but IMHO does not look good at all and does not fit into 911 image, just ruins original car lines.

PS. Front bumper is good, rear bumper - so-so, skirts as noted before - do not look as an organic part of 911, and that little wing better be taken off completely.

I see an opening in the middle, but the brake cooling ducts are at the side and not visible here...

Or are the cooling ducts only visible from below ?

II would think the new Techart front is great on 997.2 (dark color cars particularly)..the skirts aren't bad but I agree they seem a bit much...Does anyone know if the GT2 sides could be somehow adapted to fit a narrow body car? I like them on the Sport Classic and would also really. really like to find a duck tail spoiler like that..
