Actual selling prices of MK2 997's?

As read here there are 1200 997 MK2's for sale around the U.S, a friend of mine picked up a white PDK equipped C2 for 62K, what did you end up paying?

Sounds like a launch car . Keep in mind that each dealerrship had FOUR of them .. and FOUR green C2S PDK, TWO Brown Targas .

The white C2 and the macadamia Targa launch cars had PSK and NO sport chrono . Not an easy car to sell considering the volume of identical cars with non desireable options .

All the people getting sick discounts were you coming in clean or did you have a trade involved? I managed 12% on my C2S a month ago and thought that was good considering I was given decent money for my trade. Now I am realizing not so great. Good thing I like my car.

Me too, I thought I got a very good deals. But comparing what others paid here, I felt my deal is not that great. But just like you, I really like my C2S. It brings me lots of joyness every day when I come home from work and open the garage door, just seeing the Porsche sitting in the garage.

Wow, thats a big discount. Kind of makes me want to trade mine and get another one at 23.5% off just because it is such an insane deal.

A lot of people do lie about what they pay for cars. What is strange to me is why do people lie and say they pais less for a car and lie to say they paid more for a house? Does it not make sense to say you paid cheap for house?

No trade.
If you are happy than you made a good deal, doesn't matter what anybody else gets.

Good point I always take that into consideration. Have to give a 5% margin of error on some of these P deals...

A number of variables are at work in these deals. PCNA has had different incentive programs over the last six months. I believe the current round for the '09's expires at the end of the month.

I looked at the deal not as a straight percent off but referenced to dealer invoice less any trunk money. Lease or financing can add to the complexing of comparing.

As it's been said a lot recently this is a great time to be a buyer.

Wow, that is a very precise number. Where does it come from? What an individual dealer will discount is obviously up to that dealer. However, unless there are incentives beyond what has been widely reported (dealer cash of $10K on C2 and C2S, $12K on C4 and C4s, etc.) a discount of 23.5% would have the dealer losing a fair bit on each sale. While this can happen it is certainly not the norm.
