How do I reset the radio station presets?

Car is a 997.1 non-nav. Does anyone know how I can reset the radio station presets to blank it out instead of having each number correspond to a station?

Thanks in advance.

Manual comes handy for questions like this.

Buuutttt....

Pick the station you want and then hold down the button you want it to correspond to. Keep holding the button until you hear a beep and your done

If you are trying to reset the stations, you can just pick one station and do as the above poster stated by keeping the button pressed. This is standard in every car that I have driven recently.

If I understand the OP, think he's asking how to make a preset completely BLANK (i.e. not pull up ANY station when you press it). I dunno the answer

Not sure it can be linked to nothing since that is the basic purpose of the preset. What would that accomplish anyway. I suggest picking the first station in the FM range and making that your preset for all the FM and do the same with other bands. Just a thought.

Go manual tune and pick white noise in between stations and select.

No worries-so do some of us and we are getting along just fine, but don't ask our wives.

But its still going to a frequency... there is not way for the buttons to not link to a freq.

Disconnect the battery? In every other car I have owned that will wipe out the presets, and the clock etc.
