True...but this forum is a little different.
I think there are pros and cons for each and I say to each his own.

switch to turn car into 100% automatic.
As much as I love feel of current mechanical 6sp tranny - I would gladly get such a car with switchable auto-manual option.
It is a mystery for me why Porsche did not do it yet - perhaps they cannot figure out how to keep PDK box on neutral for reasonably long time, may be.

You and I have the same color, same options - and after you drive a car like ours in manual, you cannot for the life of you see the advantage of PDK.
That said, I know a lot of experienced track guys and just plain Porsche-ophiles that swear by their PDK. I drove a Cayman with PDK and it was a bore, but it was a base 987 without the launch option. So you and I could both be missing something. Nonetheless, until they show me otherwise, I'll be rowing through the gears and loving it.

rowing is fun, but pdk is awesome.
