Question Clear Side Marker Installation

I know I've read on here how to install the clear side markers. I just got mine in and my searches resulted in Cayenne clear side marker installation threads. Can someone help me find the thread for the 997 or post a quick how to?

Simple. Grab the edge of the light closes to the tire and just pull.

The manual is the best place to look. I bought my markers from suncoast and included were instructions that stated no tools required. My manual had instructions to use a screwdriver.

Similar subject: Does anyone have experience taking out the fog housing?

I tried to pop it out with the plastic card that came with the car but it isn't coming out. If there are any instructions/visuals available, it will help me out alot.

When I did mine I noticed the stock amber had clear lights and the clear had amber lights. I switched the lights out at the same time so it was clear/clear.

You may want to check but may be illegal in your state...U.S. typically is an amber side/turn signal either through the bulb or the lens. Once they pull you over they want to write you up for something now matter how good looking your passenger is....

Very true. I am planning on taking the car to the dealer to have them program it to be euro style turn signals. Fortunately I don't drive much at night, but may opt to put back in the amber lights. I do like the clean look of the clear/clear.

Just installed them. Even on the 997.2's you just pull them....although I followed suncoast's instructions and did it slowly. The only tricky part was to push the pin down to pull out the wires. I kept trying to pry it up and pull. Otherwise, it was fairly easy and that's coming from a guy that doesn't do any work his cars.
