Oil Change Indicator or Reminder

I plan to change the oil right after 2000-mi break-in. I was just wondering if there is a way to reset the oil change indicator/reminder myself, or do I have to get it done at the dealer.

TIA.

The dealer does that with his DME computer. My car had been in inventory almost a year, and I asked him to reset it for the in-service date and he just hooked up the DME and reset the time interval (1 yr.).
