Am i the only one?

So first, i know this will sound like i have OCD, but it seems every 911 I have the steering wheel is never properly centered

I've had everything from alignments to steering wheel adjustments and no one can get it right

I have a nice stretch of straight newly paved road i test on an always the same

If i try my A6 on this road it's nice and centered, but my 911 is off to the left

Most days i don't notice it, but when i do it drives me nuts

+1. This has never happened to me in the 4 911s I've owned. It happened on my 951 a couple of times and I would come back and had them fix it as, like you, I cannot stand an off-centered steering wheel.

Is there a special tool they use? i've brought mine in 3 times to the local porsche dealer to have them fix it. Now i'm thinking my technician is cross eyed because i've never had issues with them before

the aligment is perfect, car does stay straight,,,,but with a slanted steering wheel

i also have the same issue on my 993, and had the same issue on my 05 997 and 02 C4

this problem seems to follow me around

Sounds like an issue with your tech or some piece of equipment at your dealer is out of spec.

Ridleyguy is infamous around these parts
Funny you mention it ... mine seems to be just slightly off centre to the right, and it bothers me that it is not dead centre too.
