I made the step - new 997 in the house
Hi guys,
today finally I bought my 997.
After a long period of search I found in the beginning of the week the car I was always looking for - Black on Full Tan Leather.
The only bad point of the car is that it is a 2005, but it is CPOed with Porsche Warranty and one owner.
Furthermore the car has only 22.000 meiles on the odometer - the seats look like new and the tires are new
I hope to get the car in the next days. So far I only can offer some photos the dealer took for me.
Options arent that much, but exactly the stuff I would like to have.
Full Leather
19" Carrera S Wheels
Black on Tan
Bose
Seatheating
fully powered seats
Xenon
Sportsteering wheel.
Chrono, PASM etc. are only "a fun gadget" for...so I dont need those.
In the end the dealership was a bit "pushy" but I really wanted to have this car

It was pretty difficult to find a "good" optioned normal Carrera.
So now I need clear sidemarkers as soon as possible

My dream was a white one with black leather, but black with tan is nearly as good
In September I nearly bought a 996 Targa with 53.000mls - I had already placed the deposit...than the car was sold to somebody else - DAMN I am happy that I dont have the Targa now.... 997 for the win

Congrats . I remember reading your thread and did not know how you would find a car in the price range so I had not replied . I am glad to see that you found one and wish you the best . A black C2S sure is a sweet car !!!!
